The Lovezone featured on The Kelly Alexander Show

I first met Kelly Alexander back in university days, we were both enrolled in Ryerson's Radio & Television Arts program in Toronto. We were die-hard radio-heads.  In the R.T.A. program, the first year focuses on radio, the second on television, and then for the remaining two years, it was up to you which stream you wanted to focus on.  Both Kelly and I had no doubts on what we wanted to stick with.  Radio was our passion, and we thrilled in creating audio landscapes for the 'theatre of the mind'. 

After graduating we went our separate ways, pursuing careers in radio broadcasting; her in Montreal at Virgin Radio, and me in Toronto at FLOW93.5FM, and later in Taiwan at ICRT FM. We stayed in touch over the years, and have finally been able to join forces via the power of the internet.  Along with her current gig at Virgin Radio, Kelly has lauched The Kelly Alexander Show online, and has been so kind to ask The Lovezone to come on board with a bi-weekly podcast feature and blog. 

In an industry that can lean a bit to the fake side, Kelly has always kept it real; she's a straight shooter and a joy to be around.  She's also a champion karate fighter, so you know she's got focus and determination.  So when you get a chance, be sure to go visit my girl and check out her show.
